Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Aristotle

Nikolaos Avgerinos holds a degree in Social Policy and Social Anthropology from Panteion University of Athens and has successfully completed postgraduate studies in “Local and Regional Development and Local Government.” He has attended postgraduate professional specialization programs in sales and business administration, counseling, professional orientation, mentoring, and numerous seminars.

He completed his internship at the National Center for Social Research. From 2003 to 2015, he provided administrative and scientific support services to the former Municipality of Arnaia and the Municipality of Aristotle. From 2016 to 2017, he worked as an insurance and financial advisor, and from 2017 to 2019, he served as a Regional Development Consultant at a leading Development Consulting company based in Thessaloniki.

He has experience in issues of administrative organization and scientific support for public sector entities and in the organization and operation of Organizations for Local Development.

He is a Scientific Associate and registered member in the training registries of public sector trainers. He has been a member of many scientific, social, and collective bodies.

Since September 2019, he has been the Deputy Mayor of Administrative-Economic Services, Social Policy, Licensing, Regulation of Commercial Activity, and Management of European Programs of the Municipality of Aristotle in Chalkidiki. He is the President of the Tourism Promotion and Development Committee of the Municipality and a regular member of its Economic Committee.

Since June 2021, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of ANATOLIKI S.A.
