
Ioanna Kouti
Chemical Engineer, MSc
Raised in Larissa, she graduated from the 3rd High School. She studied at the Chemical Engineering Department of the School of Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, majoring in “Food & Biotechnology”, along with an Integrated Master.
After her graduation, she attended the seminar “Development and operation of environmental monitoring systems”, with a corresponding practice. She worked in the food industry for many years, in positions of Quality Control, R&D, supplies & production line, attending, at the same time, relevant specialized seminars.
She continued her studies at the Spatial Planning & Development Department of the School of Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, obtaining the Master “Spatial planning for sustainable and resilient development”, for further specialization in the environmental sector. Then she worked in the Municipality of Pilea-Hortiatis (Directorate of Cleaning, Recycling and Environment), as as a waste management and recycling monitoring officer. She also attended the seminar “Operation of Public Services, Organizations & Businesses”.
Currently, she collaborates with the Organization for Local Development, ANATOLIKI SA, participating in the monitoring and implementation of European and national projects, with the main objective being sustainable development, circular economy, recycling and waste management.
