The final Step2Clean conference successfully concluded in Burgas, Bulgaria

ANATOLIKI S.A. participated in the final conference of the Interreg VI-B NEXT Black Sea Basin Step2CleanPlan project, held on November 11, 2025, in Burgas, Bulgaria, marking the completion of a highly successful cross-border collaboration among stakeholders from Greece, Bulgaria, and Turkey.

ANATOLIKI S.A. was represented by Tasos Chatzieleftheriou and Ioannis Eleftheriadis. From the Greek side, the Deputy Mayor for Environment, Public Lighting & Maintenance Projects of the Municipality of Kalamaria, Nikos Misirlis, while Municipality of Pylaia-Chortiatis was represented by Ignatios Charalampidis, Head of Technical Services and Giorgos Giannakos also from Technical Services.

During the conference, the project results were presented, including studies and climate plans developed by the partners throughout the project in the fields of sustainable mobility, energy efficiency, and sustainable waste management.

ANATOLIKI S.A. presented a study on the management of organic waste in the Municipality of Kalamaria and an assessment of its carbon footprint.

Additionally, within the framework of the conference, a Memorandum of Cooperation on climate change adaptation was signed between the project partners and the local government authorities participating in the project.

The STEP2CleanPlan project is funded by the INTERREG NEXT Black Sea Basin program, with a total budget of €504,504.00 and a duration of 18 months. The partnership structure is as follows:
