As the 1st Semester after the official start of our DESICE project is closing, the partnership met online in order to discuss about the progress of implementation of the activities. The meeting took place online on the 11th of September 2024. Specifically, the aim of the online meeting was double fold. Firstly, it aimed to track the progress of implementation in each one of the 7 regions that participate in the project and share lessons learned, good practices and local initiatives related to circular design that were documented during the contacts with local stakeholders during the previous period. On the other hand, the meeting was an opportunity to discuss about the management and dissemination of the project and provide guidelines for the reporting of the 1st Semester.
Next Steps are the participation of representatives of DESICE in the Interreg Europe Training Days in Lille, France and the organization of the Interregional Learning Event in Slovenia during the next period.
DESICE aims to improve the implementation of regional and local policies in the field of circular economy, with a specific focus on enhancing the capacity of product designers. The project is a collaboration between 8 partners from 7 EU countries and utilizes an integrated five steps approach with: problem characterization, identification of good practices, joint analysis and solution search, knowledge and practices transfer, and policy changes.
