On Wednesday, June 18 and Monday, June 23, 2025, ANATOLIKI S.A. organized two Information and Consultation Meetings of the Local Support Group for the project “PROACTsme – Applied Data-Science and AI for proactive SME service” with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Professional Chamber, respectively.
Both meetings were held at the premises of the respective Chambers. The first meeting was attended by representatives of ANATOLIKI S.A., Ms. Evdokia Maggou, representative of the Independent Directorate for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support of the Region of Central Macedonia (RCM), and representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Thessaloniki (CCIT). The second meeting included representatives of ANATOLIKI S.A., the President of the Professional Chamber, Mr. Kyriakos Merelis, and his team.
During the meetings, ANATOLIKI S.A. presented an overview of the PROACT project, as well as the SME support model ‘HelpEmpresa’ from Catalonia, which is considered a good practice within the project. The Chambers were also informed about the intentions of the Region of Central Macedonia, which is the authority responsible for policy change within the project framework, regarding the integration of this good practice. Discussions focused on ways to effectively adapt the model to the Greek context.
A particularly important outcome of the meetings was the mapping of the specific characteristics and needs of the Chambers’ members, along with the collection of proposals for improving the service based on their experience. The discussions were productive, as in addition to the above, potential synergies were explored and several suggestions were made for future dissemination activities of the project at the local level.
PROACTsme aims to improve policy instruments that work towards improving e-Government capabilities, enabling proactiveness, and thus making public services ‘smarter’. The Project focuses on digital transformation to achieve a more personalized and proactive service, leveraging the potential of big data, automated administrative action, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
During its implementation, the Project will promote the exchange of experience, knowledge, and good practices among 5 EU regions with different stages of development. Special emphasis will be placed on data use and management, interoperability principles and the latest developments in data analysis such as forecasting business needs and promoting services “Just In Time”, creating public-private data sharing and business intelligence ecosystems.
