ANATOLIKI S.A. participated in the in-person meeting of the thematic projects of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme!

The second day of the Natural Heritage Mission Annual Institutional Dialogue 2025, held in Barcelona, was dedicated to collaboration, knowledge exchange, and strengthening the Community of Practice for the restoration and protection of Mediterranean natural heritage.

ANATOLIKI S.A. actively participated in the day’s activities, representing the MedSeaRise project through Eleni Iordanidou, the project’s Communication Manager.

The short pitch focused on one of the main transferable solutions developed within MedSeaRise, which can be adopted by other Mediterranean organisations and authorities to address risks related to sea level rise and climate change. Specifically, the application of the methodology developed during the project in coastal areas across the Mediterranean was presented.

Representatives from the 13 Thematic Projects of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme—co-funded under the Natural Heritage Mission—also took part in the meeting. Each project had the opportunity to present its results in the same format, fostering the attraction of potential stakeholders and creating new collaboration opportunities within the NHM Community of Practice.

The MedSeaRise project began in January 2024 and will be completed in March 2026. Its objective is to assess risks arising from sea level variations in order to support effective adaptation to future marine conditions.
