ANATOLIKI S.A. at the 4th Transnational Coordination Meeting of the SUSTOURTRAINING project in Rome and Castel di Tora, focusing on sustainable tourism

ANATOLIKI S.A. actively participated in the 4th Transnational Coordination Meeting of the European project SUSTOURTRAINING – Strengthening the tourism value chain in small fascinating Mediterranean towns through adult education focusing on sustainability, held from June 4th to 6th, 2025.

The meeting took place in Rome and the picturesque Castel di Tora, bringing together all project partners.

During the three-day event:

  • The updated educational material of the online course on sustainable tourism was presented, and the final content of the thematic modules was determined.
  • The publication of the online course in MOOC format was discussed, along with its technical requirements and specifications.
  • Preparations for the upcoming training activities progressed, the duration of the pilot phase of the course was defined, and a related evaluation questionnaire was created.
  • The design of dissemination activities was discussed, with emphasis on dissemination events, and the date of the next project meeting was set.
  • ANATOLIKI S.A. led the discussion on the Sustainability Plan, contributing ideas and proposals for the future exploitation of the project’s results.

On the afternoon of the second day, a Multiplier event took place, featuring thematic presentations on sustainability in tourism, environmental awareness, responsible procurement, business strategy, and communication. The audience included local stakeholders, tourism professionals, and educators.

The meeting concluded with experiential activities and visits to local destinations, practically highlighting the need for sustainable tourism development in small Mediterranean communities.

The SusTourTraining project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme and started on 01/09/2023 and has a total duration of 27 months.
