The second of the two-day training programmes organised by ANATOLIKI S.A. under the Interreg VI-B NEXT Black Sea Basin – QUEST project (Quadruple Helix-Based Enhancement of Stakeholders at Black Sea Territory) was successfully held on 1 and 2 July 2026 at the Kavala Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the Kavala Chamber. Following the first successful edition in Thessaloniki, the ANATOLIKI S.A. project team brought the same training to Kavala, providing local stakeholders and organisations with the opportunity to strengthen their ability to identify, prepare and make use of funding opportunities — with a particular focus on European projects (e.g. Interreg, Erasmus+, LIFE) — and the blue economy.
The training brought together representatives of organisations (business support organisations, Chambers, Universities, NGOs,) and businesses from Kavala and the wider region, confirming the broad interest in European funding-access topics in the area.
The training drew on the material jointly developed with the QUEST partners, adapted to reflect the local needs of the participants. It covered topics ranging from an introduction to project management and an overview of national and European funding instruments, to call analysis, budget planning and the formation of partnerships and consortia. Participants who completed the programme received a certificate of attendance.
About the project
QUEST is funded by the Interreg VI-B NEXT Black Sea Basin programme, with a total budget of €507,780.00 and a duration of 18 months. The partnership is as follows:
