STEP2CleanPlan

Cooperation for Sustainable Energy and Climate Actions’ Planning and Monitoring in BSB.

STEP2CleanPlan is a cross-border cooperation instrument for capacity building and awareness in the field of climate change adaptation planning, with outputs ready to be used by the local and regional policy-makers. Four project partners from three Black Sea Basin countries, Türkiye, Greece and Bulgaria, will cooperate in this direction.

The goal of the STEP2CleanPlan project is to improve the ability of local decision-makers to plan strategically in accordance with national climate adaptation plans and to carry out effective actions in support of previously existing local plans in this area.

One of the targeted goals is the development of three certain frameworks/ plans that will directly contribute to mitigating the negative effect of the climate change at local and global level. These frameworks will concern energy efficiency observation, sustainable urban mobility and the carbon footprint assessment and decrease of municipal waste management practices.

ANATOLIKI is one of the project partners having the Municipality of Kalamaria as an Associate Partner that will work on the waste management carbon footprint issues.

STEP2CLEANPLAN is financed by the INTERREG NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme.
