Sofia Astriti

Economist,
Director of Administrative and Financial Management

Astriti Sofia was born in Kavala and grew up in Thessaloniki. 

She is a graduate of the Department of Economic Sciences of the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. 

In the period 1998-1999 she was employed as a teacher in a public IEK. 

Between November 1, 1999 and September 30, 2000, she participated in the OAED’s STAGE work experience acquisition program. 

Since October 2000, she has been working in the Accounting Office of “ANATOLIKI SA -Organization for Local Developlment” and since August 2024 she has held the position of Director of Administrative and Financial Management.

She has participated/is participating as a financial manager or project team member in a multitude of European programs and projects in the areas of Waste Management, Energy, Sustainable Mobility, Sustainable Tourism, Entrepreneurship-Employment, Refugee Protection, Social Economy, Circular Economy and Rural Development. 

Her areas of concern were further expanded to include the subjects of sustainable tourism, rural development, energy transition and digital transition. 

She has coordinated multiple corporate international schemes and has a wide network of partners at the European level
