On Thursday, December 18, 2025, the 5th Repair Café was successfully held in KYKLOS workshop space in Ano Poli. The aim of the workshop was to familiarize students with the practice of repairing, to help them acquire basic skills, and to understand the importance of repairing as a tool for a more circular and sustainable way of living.

Fifteen students from the 26th Junior Highscool of Thessaloniki participated in the workshop. The students began by getting to know the KYKLOS space and were introduced to circular economy practices, such as the library of things and coffee residue recycling. They then tried out tools and discussed ways to use them in everyday life. Through a repair-themed memory game, they learned creative ways to fix objects.

The practical part of the workshop involved repairing worn-out bicycle tires. Students worked in teams, gradually applying the repairing process and collaborating to complete the task. The workshop concluded with questions and discussion, with students expressing excitement and emphasizing that hands-on learning provided them with skills they can apply in their daily lives.

Stay tuned for the next Repair Café!
