
Youth and Civil Society Cooperation in Action
The Development Agency of Eastern Thessaloniki’s Local Authorities, ANATOLIKI SA participates as partner in the project Youth and Civil Society Cooperation in Action , in the context of “We are all citizens” program of the EEA Financial Mechanism for Greece, EEA Grants, leading by the Association of Friends Volunteer of Society for the Protection of Minors in Thessaloniki, in cooperation with Society for the Protection of Minors in Thessaloniki.
The project concerns the monitoring, recording and dissemination of good practices and expertise aiming to capacity building and skills’ upgrading in order to maximize the efficiency of NGOs, local bodies, stakeholders’ and civil society’s interventions and services, focusing on prevention and combating the social exclusion of children and youth of disadvantaged social groups, young offenders and young people at risk of delinquency. This objective will be accomplished through the development of activities involving planning, implementation and evaluation of an integrated model of prevention and management of youth offending, by active involving NGOs and Civil Society.In addition, the project is expected to create the conditions for integration and capitalization of the Civil Society’s participation in synergies, communication channels and dissemination of results, to a wider audience, enabling the participation of all, in new strategies and policies regarding the prevention of the socialmarginalization andjuvenile delinquency.

This project is funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the EEA Grants Greek NGO Programme “We are all Citizens”. The Bodossaki Foundation is the Fund Operator of this Programme. The Programme aims to strengthen civil society and enhance the contribution of NGOs to social justice, democracy and sustainable development.
