Charalampos Vasileiadis

MSc Engineer of Urban Planning and Regional Development

Charalampos Vasileiadis was born at the city of Naousa, Regional Unit of Imathia. He studied at the Polytechnic School of the University of Thessaly, Department of Urban Planning and Regional Development. He holds a Master’s Degree in “Investment and Regional Development” from the University of Thessaly and is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and Registry of Evaluators of the Intermediary Agency for Operational Programmes of Competitiveness & Entrepreneurship (EFEPAE).

He has been working at Anatoliki SA since May 2019, contributing to the implementation of  projects for the department of Programming and Management of European Programs as well as for the department of Support of Local Organizations and Businesses. He actively participates in all project stages, from finding the appropriate funding programme, preparing and submitting business plans and proposals, to the implementation phase, the financial monitoring, communication and project closure. He has developed a significant network of collaborators in various European countries. Additionally, ha has a good knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), having participated in waste management projects and conducted studies on the visualization and optimization of Municipal Solid Waste collection and transportation systems. Finally, he has supported numerous private enterprises in securing funding from national and regional development programmes. 

His areas of interest include sustainable development, sustainable tourism, circular economy, waste management, social innovation, as well as the development and revitalization of rural areas.
