Eleni Iordanidou

Forester-Environmentalist, MSc

Eleni Iordanidou was born and raised in Thessaloniki, where she graduated from the 28th High School. She studied at the School of Forestry and Natural Environment of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specializing in Forestry Engineering and Hydraulic Works, with an Integrated Master’s degree.

She continued her studies in the Postgraduate Program of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, titled Environmental Management Strategies, Disasters and Crises, specializing in Environmental Management Strategies – Environmental Education. Her thesis, titled “Crises Management in Highway tunnels. The case of tunnels on “Egnatia Motorway SA” road network,” was published at the 10th International Conference on Civil Protection and New Technologies, SafeAttica 2023.

She has been a founding member of the environmental group of Forestry and Natural Environment, participating in numerous events to raise public awareness, as well as in the cleaning of areas in the Municipality of Thessaloniki. Additionally, she has been an active member of the Greek team of IFSA (International Forestry Students’ Association) in Thessaloniki. Throughout her studies, she worked in private sector businesses, and since April 2024, she has been collaborating with ANATOLIKI SA, participating in project teams of European programs (INTERREG EUROPE, INTERREG MED, ERASMUS+).
