The day concluded with visits to the wider area, which included the participation of the local mayor João Manuel Casaca Português, where institutions and companies operating in the area were presented.

The educational material, which will be produced in the form of an online MOOC course, will include different modules related to hospitality, restaurants, leisure activities, and transportation, providing comprehensive knowledge regarding best practices and guidelines for incorporating sustainable practices in each of these sectors. After the meeting concluded, a tour around the town and selected nearby tourist destinations was organized for the participants.
