Project CIRCLE - Circular Innovation and Resilient City Labs in the Adrion Region

The aim of the CIRCLE project is to encourage cooperation between municipalities, waste management companies, research centers and development institutions with the aim of creating Innovative City Labs for sustainable waste management and the adoption of cost-effective practices. These workshops will provide concrete examples and especially innovative waste management models to be piloted in selected urban areas of the Adriatic.

ANATOLIKH A.E. is involved as a partner in the project. At the same time, the Municipality of Thermi and the Municipality of Kalamaria are associated partners of the project. The two Municipalities through the project will enhance their partnerships with local stakeholders in waste management planning by applying circular economy principles.
The partnership includes 14 players from 8 Adriatic Sea countries, Italy, Greece, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia - Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Albania.
The Lead Partner is the Municipality of Forli from Italy.
