The event «Overcoming difficulties - on the road to success» was successfully implemented under the PURE COSMOS Project
On Monday, June 1st, took place the event entitled "Overcoming difficulties - on the road to success" in the context of the pilot action CeMaO-under PURE COSMOS Project, co-financed by INTERREG EUROPE. The event on business failure steps, that was held on-line through ZOOM meetings platform, organized by ANATOLIKI SA with the participation of Central Macedonia local stakeholders and owners of micro and small businesses, which have been included in the pilot project in order to be supported on integrating digital applications and innovation, during their starting up or during their expansion of existing services.
Mr. Konstantinos Michailidis, Head of the Independent Directorate of Entrepreneurship & Innovation - Central Macedonia Region, Mr. Antonis Bouboulas, Thessaloniki’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Mr Iakovos Sarigiannis, General Director of ANATOLIKI SA and Project Manager of ANATOLIKI SA, addressed their warm greetings for this pilot attempt. The overall coordination of the meeting was held by Mrs. Eftychia Kivrakidou - Siozou, Director of Administrative - Financial Management and Human Resources Projects - ANATOLIKI SA
After the brief introduction of the attendees, the speakers of the event Mr. Stavros Mantzanakis (CEO Emetris SA), Nikolaos Tsoniotis (coach of OK!Thess pre-incubator, co-founder Ideas Forward), Stefanos Tsiakmakis (Co-founder of BIO2CHP PC, co-founder Ideas Forward PC, OK!Thess coach) and Dimitris Kourtesis (Program Manager OK! Thess, consultant of technological startups) presented the difficulties they faced and decisions they made to turn their ideas into a business reality, after having attempted and tested different ideas and after having failed in previous steps Failure made them stronger and offered them business maturity to overcome difficulties before they succeeded in their startups.
Their presentations were followed by an open spontaneous and very productive discussion, with young entrepreneurs expressing their questions and anxiety on how to manage the risk of future decisions. The discussion was held in a positive way of confronting difficulties or wrong choices as an opportunity for reflection, a step back before professional success.
On June 24th, the second event will take place. During the event entitled “A Journey to Entrepreneurship Success”, Greek and German entrepreneurs will share their small or big secrets of their professional successes.
