Final Local Stakeholders Group of RUMORE project in Thessaloniki, Greece
The Regional Development Fund of Central Macedonia, the Region of Central Macedonia and the Development Agency of Eastern Thessaloniki’s Local Authorities ANATOLIKI SA organized the final meeting of the Local Stakeholders Group (LSG) of RUMORE project, which is co-financed by the Interreg Europe 2014 – 2020 Program.
The meeting was held on Tuesday 19 November 2019 in Thessaloniki, at the venue of Ok!Thess.
In the beginning of the meeting Mr. Ioannis Spandos from the Regional Development Fund of Central Macedonia presented in brief the Action Plans of all the project partners. In particular he presented the main actions which will take place during Phase B of the project targeting at influencing the Regional Policy Instruments of the partners for the promotion of rural-urban partnerships.
Mrs. Vasiliki Papadopoulou from ANATOLIKI SA presented the project’s final recommendations of how the Regions can encourage innovation through the cooperations between the rural and urban sectors. The recommendations are accompanied by examples of good practices which were indicated and presented during the project.
Finally, Mrs. Marialena Tertsene, on behalf of the Technical Advisor, presented the progress of the implementation of the RCM Action Plan and also the following steps in the course of the 2nd phase of the project.
