The project "Change the Power - (Em) Power to Change: Local Authorities towards SDGs & Climate Justice / EuropeAid" participates in the 3rd International Exhibition on Environmental Technologies VERDE TEC 2019
Under the "Change the Power (Em) Power to Change" project co-financed by EuropeAid Program, ANATOLIKI SA participates in the 3rd International Exhibition on Environmental Technologies Verde Tec 2019, February 15th-17th, 2019 at MEC Paiania Exhibition Centre.
During the three days of the exhibition, the visitors may be informed about the awareness raising campaign "Good life is simple", which is being implemented within the framework of the project "Change the power - (Em) Power to change: Local authorities towards SDGs and Climate Justice/EuropeAid", co-financed by the EuropeAid Program. The project aims at increasing public awareness of global interdependencies with the campaign “Good life is simple”. The campaign includes posters, free postcards and informational material to call attention on issues like energy, mobility and consumption.
Apart from awareness raising on global interdependencies and climate change, the project offers a wide range of activities to improve public understanding and engagement, such as audiovisual material and climate change reports. The Partnership, coordinated by Climate Alliance – Germany, includes 20 partners out of 11 Countries.
"Good life is simple" campaign presents positive examples and new ways to integrate climate protection into our everyday lives. Campaign posters provide incentives in the areas of energy, mobility, consumption and nutrition to enable citizens become active.
Τhe documentary trailer "Countdown on River Xingu V" will be projected at the pavilion. River Xingu is a tributary of Amazon River and has the third largest dam in the world. For this purpose, parts of the tropical forest were illegally deforested and indigenous communities were displaced, to produce electricity for multinational companies as well as the emerging Brazilian economy.
The exhibition operating days and hours shall be: Friday 15th and Saturday 16th of February, 10.00 - 20.00 and Sunday 17th of February, 10.00 - 19.00.
