Participation of ANATOLIKI SA in the 4th International Exhibition Verde.tec 2022 - Environmental Technologies
The Organisation for Local Development - ANATOLIKI SA will participate for the 3rd time in a raw, as exhibitor, in the 4th International Exhibition Verde.tec 2022 - Environmental Technologies. The exhibition will take place from Friday 18th to Sunday March 20th at the Mediterranean Exhibition Center - MEC in Athens.
In the context of supporting sustainable development in the wider area of Thessaloniki urban unit and in the Region of Central Macedonia in general, ANATOLIKI SA will present within the exhibition projects being implemented in cooperation with local authorities and under co-financed by the EU programs.
In particular, in the upcoming exhibition multiple projects will be presented related to rational waste management, circular economy, energy issue and adaptation to climate change (Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans-SECAP, Energy Efficiency Plans for buildings) as well as environmental education.
In addition, during the exhibition and in the context of CIRCLE “Circular Innovation and Resilient City Labs in the Adrion Region’’ project B2B meetings will be held at ANATOLIKI’s stand (Corridor B, Stand 26).
The meetings will focus on promoting circular economy and disseminating knowledge and experience regarding this notion. Their aim will be to highlight ideas and initiatives for the further adoption of this concept by companies and local authorities in the field of municipal waste management.
ANATOLIKI SA participates also in the Greek Green Awards 2022 which take place during the exhibition with two nominations in the categories:
a. European project for the environment
b. Waste management
claiming the award for "Best European project for the environment", with the project CESME/Interreg Europe, on circular economy and the award "Rational solid waste management", with the projects implemented in collaboration with the Local Authorities of Eastern Thessaloniki and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
